About Us
Blue Basket Foods is a dynamic and innovative business born out of a successful venture in the liquor industry.
Our journey began with Blue Bottle Liquors, a liquor buying group established in 2009. After over a decade of growth and success, we recognized a new opportunity in the food market space. In 2021, we partnered with Big Save, a family run business that started as Waltloo Wholesalers in 1989.
Big Save is a renowned wholesaler in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector and has become a leader in the cash and carry industry, known for its competitive pricing and vast product range.
We proudly opened our inaugural Blue Basket Foods store in Randburg in October 2022.
